Applications Opened To Startups For The NextGen Ghana Fintech Accelerator 2022

Applications are opened primarily for Ghanaian startups and other African startups eager to penetrate the Ghanaian market through the NextGen Ghana Fintech Accelerator Program.

The NextGen Ghana Fintech Accelerator is a six-month bespoke accelerator program targeting early-stage fintech startups with a product in the market, a customer base, and sustainable revenue. The program aims to accelerate startups’ business growth, organisational maturity, and broaden their market reach.

Benefits of the accelerator program

Startups who apply for the accelerator program will receive access to specialised business knowledge and expertise. They will attend customised workshops and training to accelerate their products by experts across GrowthAfrica, Stanbic Bank and GIZ.

Startups will also have access to a network of business and technical methods, one of such is one-on-one sessions with experienced mentors across the Kenyan entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Additionally, startups will have access to infrastructural support from Stanbic Business Incubator. This promises a co-working space, boardroom and auditorium for these entrepreneurs to effectively function.

Furthermore, these entrepreneurs will have access to peer-to-peer learning, join a growing community, and connect with investors.

Eligibility criteria

Startups must have a post MVP (Minimum Viable Product).

Startups must have a sustainable revenue stream.

Startups must provide digital solutions using IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Data Analytics in the financial industry.

Interested startups can apply here before 27th February 2022.
