DilenyTech Secures $160 K Funding
Egyptian health tech startup Dileny Technologies(DilenyTech) has received a non-equity grant of $160,0000 from the Information Technology Academia Collaboration (ITAC) programme, affiliated with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).
The startup received the fund a few months after it was awarded a US patent for a novel AI-enabled image analysis technology.
It will use the fund to expand its AI-enabled network and improve breast cancer detection.
Launched in 2018, DilenyTech develops solutions for improving the quality of healthcare by developing AI and medical imaging solutions, breast cancer risk assessment, and structured reporting in several medical applications.
“DilenyTech aims to revolutionize breast cancer screening and diagnostic workflow via providing innovative AI assistance for more accurate breast cancer detection and expedited reporting. Thousands of healthcare professionals can access our online platform anytime/anywhere. This shall reduce patients’ suffering due to long waiting time as well as inaccurate diagnosis,” said Dr Ahmed Ehab Mahmoud, Founder, and Chief Innovation Officer.
Aside a great deal of scientific and professional experience, the startup has provided its services to top international health tech companies with active users in 3 different continents.
