Accra Digital Jobs Fair 2022 - #Data Science Edition

Press Release

Oct. 31, 2022, 2:06 p.m.

The discussion on unemployment has become necessary in Ghana because most youths get stranded with no better solutions to their problems. Many have abandoned their skills to venture into jobs that will fetch them quick income and have become the other of the day.

There have been several measures the government and other stakeholders have taken to curb the issue of unemployment, but the question remains whether it is enough.

In this light, Ghana Tech Lab is organizing an Accra Digital Jobs Fair 2022 - #Data Science Edition, the second to happen this year.

Accra Digital Jobs Fair is a periodic event that brings together industry players, educators, students, government, and job seekers to understand Digital job roles and their relevance to society. The job fair is an opportunity for recruiters to exhibit current digital and other job openings in various industries and also help them understand the digital skills needs of employers. This initiative is part of the broader agenda to ensure an enabling environment for young people to access decent jobs to help them benefit from the digital transformation agenda of Ghana.

In April of this year, the Accra Digital Jobs Fair was organized but mainly focused on Mobile App Development. The event featured a pre-networking session for the attendees, a panel discussion on “Building Careers in Tech,” workshops on CV Clinic, and Acing Interviews.

The Data Science Edition promises to be educative and productive, granting the attendees knowledge in career guidance and entrepreneurial skills training to help improve their professional networks.

Come and let’s network to meet new people and better opportunities at this year’s Accra Digital Jobs Fair 2022-Data Science Edition happening on;
