Accra West Startups Host Startup Connect

Accra West startups on Wednesday hosted an event dubbed "Startup Connect" at Ghana Tech Lab. It was on the theme “ Why Startups Fail”.

The program was aimed at focusing on the startup journey and discussing the reasons why startups fail along the way and provide lasting solutions.

The event provided the platform for startups to network with other startups and prospective stakeholders and share ideas to ensure the growth of their businesses.

Mentor and Managing Partner of Startup Accra, Norbert Dziwornu, admonished the startups to be aware of their product type and be confident about the end product when they have finally produced it.

“ The goal is to be passionate and confident but most importantly have fun with what you are doing and that is what will bring the money out of investors” he stated.

He elaborated that startups are fond of being too rigid and structured during their pitch to investors.

As the saying goes, ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’, the startups further had a fun session by engaging in board games and sports.
