Chipper Cash is taking its financial instrument a step further as it seeks to scale and democratize its services which previously was privy to a select few people.

Chipper Cash has become the fastest and only licensed fintech company to give out US fractional stocks in Uganda. This guarantees that users in Uganda are privy to buy stocks in companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Adding to this development, the company has rolled out its services in the USA. For the first time, Africans can transfer money to the USA for free or at no extra charge. Users in the USA can also transact in-country and overseas businesses using Chipper Cash.

“ When we started this company, our focus was and remains to solve the cross-border payment challenge in Africa. However, we knew early on that we needed to think big to have the biggest impact. At the end of the day, if you want to build something for Africa and you are serious about it, you have to build it for the world. So today, we want to announce that we are available in the USA. We have been working towards this moment for two years now so it is a big deal for us,” the CEO, Ham Serunjogi stated.
