Breaking News: WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Have Crashed Worldwide

WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook have all crashed worldwide causing a lot of unease for users. The three apps stopped working shortly before 5 pm.
The error message on Facebook's webpage and Instagram suggested a Domain Name System (DNS) error. For WhatsApp, users are unable to receive nor send messages.
Whatsapp has, however, taken to its Twitter handle to assure its users.
“We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!”
