
IBM Code Challenge Launched For African Developers

Multinational technology company, IBM, has launched the IBM Code Challenge for developers and problem-solvers around the world to build solutions that address specific global problems in unique, and applicable ways.
The challenge offers participants the opportunity to build and contribute to sustainable, open-source technology projects that address social and humanitarian issues, making a demonstrable impact in the most vulnerable communities.
The challenge will focus on solutions that will provide clean water and sanitation, solve world hunger and promote responsible production and green consumption.
The team with the winning solution receives $200,000 and support from IBM Service Corps, technical experts, and ecosystem partners like the Linux Foundation to further develop and deploy their technology to communities in need.
