Ghana Tech Lab Announces National Acceleration Program For Ghanaian Startups
Ghana Tech Lab has announced its six-month, first-of-a-kind project, the National Acceleration Program for Ghanaian startups to connect them with investors and become bigger players in the ecosystem.
To be implemented across its six partner hubs, the Acceleration Program is focused on helping Ghanaian entrepreneurs identify gaps within their businesses and provide solutions tailored to close those gaps alongside preparing them to be investor-ready.
The Acceleration Program features an initial phase that takes the startups through a needs assessment process. Startups must learn how their businesses function and identify the practices that best work for them. The process helps them identify what they are lacking and better informs them on how to fill those gaps.
After successful completion of the initial phase, the startups are taken through the pre-acceleration phase, where they are taken through a series of training to position them for investment opportunities.

This phase creates room for the final phase which grooms the startup for the Ghana Startup Summit, the company’s largest accelerator platform for emerging markets. Each week, the startups will go through a series of training and mentorship sessions, expert advisory sessions, peer-to-peer pitching sessions, fireside chat, and breakfast meetings.
