Startup Bas, a startup business advisory support for businesses will be launched on Friday in Accra. The event is being held under the auspices of Ghana Tech Lab and in partnership with ABSA Ghana.

Speaking to the Digital Times Africa, Miss Baaba Simpson, Business Development Associate said that the initiative is aimed at supporting start-ups in Ghana to scale-up and build resilient businesses from the early stage to the growth stage.

‘‘We want to open the opportunity for businesses to be assured that we have their back in terms of business support at all stages of their businesses,’’ she said.

According to her, GTL would be offering pro bono services for businesses in Ghana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by giving free consultation, legal advice, company registration as well as opening an account with ABSA to assist in growing their businesses.

She added that the initiative is being replicated across the 13 partner hubs, working with Ghana Tech Lab to ensure that businesses across the country will also benefit from the startup business advisory support.

‘‘We have the partner hubs as business centers across the country and would redirect all startups in the regions to specific cities they are located in’’.

She called on businesses to patronise the services to boost their businesses and also called on organisations to reach out to GTL to partner in supporting startups across the country.
