The Israeli Embassy, in partnership with Ghana Tech Lab, has donated 1,000 face shields to Ghana’s Ministry of Health in Accra.

The donation marks the second phase of the face shield donation after Shani Cooper, the Ambassador of Israel made a prior donation to the same Ministry in July.

Donating the face shields, she stated that, “after the success of the First Phase of this collaboration between the Embassy of Israel and the Ghana Tech Lab, necessity was laid upon us to veer into the second phase of this sustainable project which also involves the printing of 1,000 face shields for frontline medical staff and health workers in the wake of COVID-19”.

Receiving the face shields, Mr. Kwabena Oku-Afari expressed his gratitude for the gesture and also commended Ghana Tech Lab, for promoting “local innovation” by using their resources to produce the face shields.
