Dec. 9, 2022, 2:05 p.m.
To maintain its dominance in Ghana's commerce, messaging, and payments, Hubtel Ghana has expanded its operations to its northern region.
It has increased its efforts to spread digital inclusion across the entire country. The company began operating in Cape Coast earlier this year, and soon after that, Koforidua, the city of flowers, hosted a launch for community participation.
Following a successful launch in Takoradi the year before, this happened. Tamale is becoming the seventh operational city of Hubtel in Ghana due to this news.

Hubtel will improve Tamale's digital commerce by providing adaptable, simple, and practical digital transactions through its platform. Locals may now locate and pay for daily necessities with ease. Hubtel delivers a seamless retailer-customer engagement, making it simpler for both sides to connect and providing an all-inclusive platform for customers to search and pay for everyday requirements from nearby vendors and merchants.
In an interview, Hubtel's Head of Commercial and New Markets, Gershon Akoto, commented on the company's expansion into Tamale. He said, "Up until now, Hubtel users in Tamale have been able to transfer money and SMS, as well as pay for airtime, internet data, DSTv, and GOTv.
The Hubtel App and website now have greater functionality thanks to today's launch. On Hubtel, users may easily order Food, groceries, and other items, and they will quickly receive them in the convenience of their homes or offices ".

"Through today's float, we were able to meet with potential partner stores and reach out to new customers. Everyone has been really hospitable, and we have every faith that Hubtel will continue to cooperate with the people of Tamale for a very long time ", he continued.
"Building a platform where anybody can simply locate, pay for, and participate in the economy is key to our firm's mission of becoming Africa's most helpful company.in the digital economy," according to Mrs. Elsie Bram, Head of E-Commerce at Hubtel.
