Nedbank Group is a financial services group in South Africa offering wholesale and retail banking services as well as insurance, asset management, and wealth management
Earlier this week, the South African fintech banking platform teamed up with Mastercard and local fintech player Ukheshe to launch a new feature for customers called Money Message on WhatsApp. This in-chat payment feature will allow users to make payments and get paid through WhatsApp.
Along this line, micro-merchants and their customers can transact with each other easily without fear of cost, security, or technical barriers.
Registration on the platform requires no paperwork and there is no limit on the amount of transactions users can make in a day.
