Global Lab Network, a knowledge exchange, and networking platform will be hosting its 8th edition of Science Cafe virtually on the theme “Building Individual and Collective Resilience Beyond the COVID-19 Crisis. It will take place on Friday 26th March.

Launched in August 2018, the Science Cafe is a knowledge and network platform which enables scientists and innovators to share their work with lay audiences in an informal way. The platform challenges speakers to be interactive and present their work using simple and easy-to-understand language that participants can easily connect with in places like bookstores, café, restaurants, and bars.

Led by the members of STEM Ghana, the event will highlight the notion of resilience in a time of profound global change by examining experiences, reflections, research findings, and imaginations of what the future could like.

STEM network members like Social Entrepreneur and Consultant Ato Ulzen-Appiah, Neurologist and Co-founder of GhScientific, Dr. Thomas Tagoe, Independent Education Consultant Evelyn Agyepong, Astronomer Solomon Appekey, and Founder and CEO of eCampus LLC Cecil Senna Nutakor will explore topics relevant to building a resilient state against the pandemic followed questions and answers session.
