Nigeria’s software development company, Softworks Limited, on Friday announced the re-launch of Softworks.xyz, a platform designed to curb unemployment.

The platform seeks to eradicate unemployment among the youth by linking freelancers with tech and design employers and service seekers.

There is also an aspect of the software that protects both freelancers and employers in terms of payment for service.

Speaking at the re-launching, the Founder/CEO, Chigozie Okwara took time to explain the efforts, skills, and technology behind the setting of the platform.

“Softwork is the bridge between the talented and those in need of certain skills. Our platform removes the worries both clients and freelancers may have. We have various skills such as; web designers, app developers, writers, video editors, music promotion, the list goes on.”

He further explained the reason behind the previous pop-ups of error display when searching for the site, saying, they were relaunching to serve every employer and freelancer better.

Continuing, he said that people choose to be freelancers because it falls in line with their passion and gives them the opportunity to create their own schedules.

This flexibility creates a better work-life balance for freelancers and increases the quality and speed of service delivery for businesses.
