Nov. 17, 2022, 11:08 a.m.
Solar Taxi, in collaboration with CalBank PLC, AFD - Agence Française de Développement (AFD), SUNREF, the European Union (EU), and the Energy Commission of Ghana, launched energy-efficient Electric Bikes to the Ghanaian Market.
The launch was held on Thursday, 17th November 2022, at the CalBank Head Office Auditorium.
This partnership reinforces our commitments and their efforts to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy as per the United Nations Sustainable Goal 7.
With the increasing concerns about environmental pollution and greenhouse emissions caused by fossil fuel use, our aim is to contribute to a clean and healthy environment through sustainable and affordable transportation in the sub-region.
The bikes being launched are a part of the Solar Taxi’s Electric Vehicles (EVs) range, which will essentially be used for economic activities involving delivery/courier services.
