Ghana-based Startup Cafe Africa with support from iSpace, HatuaTech, and Tribe Capital has announced the launch of its accelerator program to help African startups disrupt their markets.

Launched in 2012, Startup Cafe Africa has been committed to improving the startup ecosystem in Africa through specially curated projects and initiatives.

The accelerator aims to equip successful applicants with the skills, resources, and support needed to scale these companies and accelerate their growth process in emerging African markets.

The program will connect early-stage founders with mentors from diverse backgrounds and resources tailored for the African market. In addition to a structured curriculum, cohort participants would be required to participate in the hands-on application of concepts and practices learned throughout the program.

Startup Café Africa will conclude with a demo day where startups will present their ideas to a carefully selected group of investors and media, while Startup Cafe Africa will continue to support and engage with the companies on an ongoing basis post-program.

Application for the program is open until May 30, 2021
