
Top 3 Ghanaian Winners Of The National Acceleration Pitch Day

The National Acceleration Pitch Day provided a platform for young entrepreneurs to pitch their businesses to significant stakeholders and potential investors. Additionally, it served as an avenue to have various discussions and conversations centered around entrepreneurship, enterprise innovation, technology, and youth employment.
The event brought together 6 startups across 6 regions in Ghana. These entrepreneurs had emerged winners in a local pitch competition organized by partner hubs under which they had received 6-months investor-readiness training and support.
Startups were judged based on the following metrics: traction, innovation, scalability, business model, team, and investment readiness.
Out of this, three startups emerged to consolidate their position within the Ghanaian ecosystem; a desirable outcome for the Ghanaian market.

the second runner-ups
Jowato, an e-commerce startup providing a reliable, and convenient marketplace for small African businesses to trade easily globally while delivering biodegradable packaging. They emerged as second runner-ups with an amount of 2000gh.

ABZ Automations, a startup that seeks to prevent water and energy wastage 3by eliminating the manual operation of water pumps. To facilitate progress, ABZ has developed hardware and software integrated solutions. The startup was adjudged as the first runner-up with an amount of 3000gh.

Soil Solutions, a startup that provides affordable Do-It-Yourself soil test kits integrated with web applications to help smallholder farmers test their soil to make informed decisions. Soil Solutions emerged as the overall winner with an amount of 5000gh.
The National Acceleration Program is a high-quality program that addresses the demand for quality Business Support (with a priority on female-led businesses) towards the provision of high-quality Business Development Services (BDS) to existing businesses.
The acceleration program assesses, prepares, and positions high-growth SMEs identified by partner hubs to secure growth funding.
