UN Opens Applications For Startups For Its Food Systems Summit 2021

Startups and Small businesses around the world can apply for the UN Food Systems Summit competition that aims to transform food systems globally.

Startups and SMEs that are providing healthy food that is good for the environment, good for their communities, and creates jobs for people locally are entreated to apply and share ideas and suggestions for how their countries and economies can maximize their positive impact

Dubbed ‘Best Small Business: Good Food for All’ the competition will identify the best small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from across the world transforming food systems for a better tomorrow. The competition will also ensure that these businesses are supported to scale up their trades sustainably.

50 small businesses and Foodtech startups will be selected in the final stage of the event. These 50 SMEs will each receive a $2000 cash prize and a chance to actively participate in events around the Pre-Summit in July 2021.

Application closes on June 4, 2021
