WhatsApp Is Rolling Out Cover Photos On Android Beta

WhatsApp is now releasing a feature that lets businesses enhance their business profile by setting up a cover photo after installing the latest beta version of WhatsApp Business beta for Android!

Two months ago, WhatsApp released the ability to set up cover photos on WhatsApp beta for iOS. The same feature has also been spotted during the development of the WhatsApp Desktop beta, but there was no news about WhatsApp beta for Android… until today. In fact, a new WhatsApp Business beta update has just been released, and we have discovered that WhatsApp is already rolling out the same feature to certain businesses!

As you can see in this screenshot, it is very easy to understand if the feature is already available for your WhatsApp account: a new banner shows up at the top of your chats list that invites the business to set up a cover photo. You can easily set up the cover photo by opening your business profile right within WhatsApp Settings > Profile. It is also possible to see the cover photo set by other businesses by opening their profile.

This feature has been released to some businesses today, and it will be rolled out to more users over the coming weeks.
